Recently I did a ritual, welcoming the re-new year and asking for ‘something special’ to unfold. Then this happened…
I am deeply grateful and super excited that beautiful Chrissy Teigen has become a fan of Essentiel Moisture! ?? I can’t tell you what it means to hear from people who share the lotion love. It’s the encouragement from customers that keeps me going through the tough times of raising this lotion love child.
Like me, most people were giddy about the video. Yet I soon realized after posting on social media that Chrissy’s name brings up a bit of controversy. Nowadays somebody will find something to shame no matter what’s being discussed, or even celebrated. Personally I don’t keep up with many celebrities, but what’s clear to me about Chrissy is that she’s got a beautiful heart (among other parts) and I admire her willingness to express it openly and authentically, even when it’s broken. She’s also an incredible cook, loving wife and mother…and married to soulful John Legend ? What’s not to love?!
I’m truly touched that she took time to support my small business within her big busy life. So from my heart, thank you dear Chrissy!
In honor of Valentines Day, may we all connect more through common humanity in 2021, despite dislikes or disagreements. Hey, here’s a start – we can all appreciate that we love a certain lotion ??

I started using Essentials Primarily for my face of 60+ Over a year ago. It’s like having a time machine in a bottle. This miracle lotion leaves my Face soft and glowing. And having Chrissy Teigen share that she uses the lotion wow what a complement to you Adele. I think she and John are amazing people. Talented artists both, and brave to share their heartache and other life stories with us. As a mental health professional it’s important that we share our heart aches as well as our joy with others so that we can become a community of love.

I respect Chrissy’s honesty and transparency. She has never claimed perfection, but is learning and growing as a mom, a woman, wife…as a human! She expresses love for her family and is so genuine. She’s been through a lot, like so many of us. Now, we share even more in common…our favorite lotion! Yay!

I first tried the lotion on my very thin splitting nails and saw how much it helped. Then on my rough elbows. It softened them within 2 days! Then I had pain because of callouses on my feet. Fixed that, too. Now using it on my face, neck and even under my eyes. It seems to work better than my eye cream. I only use natural products and this one is terrific. Thank you Adele!

This is great and provides a much needed reminder that it’s time for another order. My teenage daughter loves the lotion, which warms my heart. I love Chrissy T and John. She is outspoken and I guess I can see how some of her behavior may be controversial but personally I just think she’s fabulous and flawed and provides some much needed authenticity to the celebrity world. There’s no way to please everyone here my friend; trust your intuition. Love you!

There will always be haters—Keep moving forward! Frankly, I love her and my heart poured out for her and John and that they shared their tragic event, which so often happens to women and it’s NEVER spoke about in public or feel shameful in front of family and friends.
Totally agree! It was so moving to see how open and raw Chrissy was when sharing during that devastating time. You’re right, many people don’t have the willingness to share their hearts, especially when they’re broken. I admire her bravery and desire to help other women by sharing her story.
